UEFS offers 28 permanent undergraduate programs:
14 bachelor’s degree programs;
11 teaching programs;
3 dual modality programs (bachelor’s and teaching);
The 28 programs are organized into 4 schools, 25 programs with biannual admission process and 3 programs with annual admission.
UEFS has 1,006 admissions in the first semester and 920 in the second semester, summing up 1,926 admissions yearly. The institution also offers several programs/courses for special admissions through the Teacher Training Program, 2 Distance-teaching experimental courses, 1 Law School Program specific for land reform members.
Among regular admissions for each course, 50% are specific for the Brazilian Quote System (system that separates part of admission for specific groups of society) - Studentswho come from Public Schools. Eighty percent out of these 50% are for blacks according to CONSU Resolution 034/2006. The same Resolution establishes that for each course, two extra admissions are exclusive for applicants from indigenous communities and African-descendant communities.
