The city of Feira de Santana is located in the state of Bahia, in the Northeast region of Brazil, approximately 100 km from the capital, Salvador.
Its economy is based on commerce, as it is situated at one of the main road intersections in northeastern Brazil. This intersection involves three federal roads (BR-324, BR-101, BR-116) and three state roads (BA-052, BA-502, BA-503), which attract people from all over the country.
